Welcome to St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church!

We are so glad you have taken a few moments to visit our site. We are a caring Christian community located at 107 N. 8th Street in Hartsville, South Carolina. We would love to have you come visit our church home, worship with us and join us in our varied activities of ministry and fellowship.

It is our mission as a church to be faithful ministers of God's love and presence, through Jesus Christ, in our community. We believe we are called to go into the world with the love we have received through Christ and minister to people with compassion and care. It is our hope to share the love of God, through His Son Jesus Christ, with everyone we meet with the same love and compassion that Jesus Christ shares with us through His Ministry, His death and His resurrection:

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:16-17 NIV

Jesus is our best example of compassionate love. His ministry was spent healing people, caring for their individual needs and sharing the good news that He would provide a way for reconciliation with God the Father through His death on the cross. 

We welcome you to join us for our worship services, fellowship events, Bible studies, music programs, and special church gatherings. Our doors are open Monday through Thursday from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Visitors are welcome. The church is also open during those times for prayer and personal reflection.

Come join us and be witnesses to the world of the incredible love and joy we receive from God, through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
